I find recipe websites that are filled with tons of ads, long stories, and other junk to be very annoying. It's also difficult to remember which recipe comes from which site sometimes, or remember if any adjustments needed to be made for a recipe, and some recipes are just plain hard to follow because they are written badly. So eventually I started writing down my favorite recipes from the internet in plain text in my notes app, and cooking instantly became a more streamlined and enjoyable experience, because now I have a personal cookbook where I can adjust the instructions, portion size, or ingredient amounts of any recipe anytime to fit my families size and tastes. Now, I'm uploading these recipes on my website both to help anyone else out who has the same gripes with recipe websites as I do, and because my website loads faster in my web browser than my notes app and supports dynamic linking, etc. Note 1: I make no claim that these recipes are perfect or will fit all tastes. These are simply the dishes that I enjoy cooking and eating the most! Feel free to modify these recipes in whatever way you see fit, and send me any suggestions on ways things could be improved. Note 2: You may have to adjust the cook time and temperature depending on your oven model, stove-top type (such as gas, induction, etc), and elevation. Note 3: In order to have full, restaurant quality meals, a main dish with should usually be paired with one or more side dishes (and optionally a dessert!). Note 4: As a general rule of thumb, any leftovers from recipes should be stored in the fridge and consumed within 3 days. More specific storage (such as if the dish can be put in the freezer or stored in the fridge for longer) is noted in some individual recipes.Main Dishes
